GENERAL MEETING OF MEMBERS OF THE AUTOMOTIVE ASSOCIATION

THE COUNCIL

The General Meeting is the supreme decision-making body of the Automotive Association.

During intervals between general meetings of the Automotive Association, members are represented by the Council, consisting of 5 persons elected by the General Meeting for a period of 4 years. The Council elects the president, who acts as the Chairperson of the Council.

Management and representation of the Automotive Association is the responsibility of the Board. Operation of the Board is arranged and managed by a Member of the Board assigned by the Council, entitled to represent the Automotive Association with no specific power of attorney in government and administration institutions, municipalities, courts and other institutions and organisations.

Operation of the executive body during the period from 1994 to 2010 was managed by Olafs Ozols as the Chairperson of the Board.
Operation of the executive body during the period from 2011 to 2013 was managed by Viktors Kulbergs as the Chairperson of the Board.
Operation of the executive body since 2014 is managed by the Member of the Board Ingus Rūtiņš.
